Second Purodha Pramukha

Ácárya Shraddhánanda Avadhúta

31 October 1990 – 15 October 2008

Born June 1919; initiated by the founder in 1954, avadhúta from 1964. Edited the organisation’s magazines for two decades before leading it for eighteen years. Author of "The Sixteen Points: Our Fundamental Duty" and "My Spiritual Life with Baba".

A wiki navigation template gives "1991–2010"; the article text and the dated death announcement (15 Oct 2008) say otherwise, and the dated source wins.

Ácárya Vishvadevánanda Avadhúta, current Purodha Pramukha

Third — current Purodha Pramukha

Ácárya Vishvadevánanda Avadhúta

2008 – present

Directly initiated by the founder in 1954, of the same early cohort as his predecessor. Elected after Shraddhánanda’s passing; his tours and discourses appear in the organisation’s official coverage through 2026.

One wiki page dates the election "October 2010"; the sector’s own site and multiple sources say 2008, which is printed.

Note for the record: the organisation has experienced administrative litigation since the early 2000s. The succession shown here follows the sources cited on each entry; the governing administration this platform represents is a decision recorded in the launch checklist, not one this page takes silently.
