How to Do Kiirtan

Posture
Sit comfortably with spine erect. Close your eyes gently and bring your awareness to the breath.
Mudra
Interlock your fingers and raise your hands above your head. This is the Dhvaja Pranam mudra (flag-offering posture).
Chanting
Sing "Baba Nam Kevalam" with devotion. Let the meaning absorb your mind — only the name of the Beloved exists.
Absorption
After kiirtan, sit in silence. Feel the vibration permeating every cell. Merge into the cosmic flow.
