About
Abha Seva Sadan Multitherapy Charitable Health Centre
Abha Seva Sadan is the name of a network of charitable health units. The main hospital campus at Ananda Nagar runs 36 inpatient beds across allopathy, physiotherapy, acupuncture, homeopathy, ayurveda and naturopathy, serves 2,000 to 2,500 free outpatients a month, holds an annual free cataract operation camp for elderly villagers, and sends a mobile medical unit to distant villages. This centre at Kashijharia, established in May 2005, serves roughly 50,000 rural people living more than 20 km from any alternative hospital, with a six-room outpatient building and a medicinal herb garden of 70 varieties. A third unit at Tatanagar was visited by the Purodha Pramukha in 2026. Specialist doctors visit on the first Sunday of every month.
